As a medical professional, I spent years treating patients with severe contact dermatitis, eczema, and unexplained skin sensitivities. What I discovered was alarming: the very products marketed to "cleanse" and "soothe" were often the root cause of the irritation.
Commercial soaps are frequently stripped of their natural glycerin and loaded with synthetic detergents, artificial fragrances, and chemical hardeners. They are designed for shelf life, not for human skin.
I began researching ancient Ayurvedic principles and traditional cold-process soap making. I wanted to create something uncompromising. A formula where every single ingredient had a therapeutic purpose. No shortcuts. No fillers.

Why TVAKYA Exists
Born from a personal journey with hypersensitive skin.
From childhood, I lived with hypersensitive skin that reacted to almost every commercial soap — leaving it dry, irritated, and uncomfortable. No matter how many products I tried, very few felt genuinely gentle, nourishing, or thoughtfully made.
As a doctor, I saw how deeply ingredients, formulation choices, and manufacturing practices shape the way skin responds. I began looking past labels and marketing claims, searching for products built on integrity, simplicity, and purpose.
When I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, I decided to create it. Every TVAKYA bar is handcrafted in small batches with carefully chosen oils, butters, botanicals, milks, and natural clays — thoughtful ingredients over shortcuts, craftsmanship over mass production.
